Cai and Hien, whose story was published in the October 2024 issue of The Voice of the Martyrs magazine, have endured several years of persecution since placing their faith in Jesus in 2021. The persecution includes imprisonment, shunning by their community, denial of public services like electricity and water, and refusal to admit their children to school. In the early morning of November 5, 2024, after continuous threats, Cai and Hien’s house was set aflame, destroying their home and all their possessions. Authorities have refused to help unless the couple will give up their faith in Jesus Christ. Front-line workers have requested prayer for this brother and this sister as the body of Christ helps them find new housing and meet their immediate material needs.
Pray that this family will find strength in their faith in Jesus and remain faithful to Him.

Pray that church leaders will minister well and remain strong in faith.
Pray that more Bibles will be printed and distributed to meet the growing need.
Pray for those distributing Bibles in areas tightly controlled by the government.
